The beginning ...

Who Proposed?

Chris proposed on a random Tuesday! Chris and my sister in law came up with a scavenger hunt because Chris knew I would want my nephew involved. At the end of the hunt he proposed!

When did you start planning?

I actually started planning before we were engaged... lol

Favorite part of the planning process?

Booking everything! It was fun finding the perfect vendors for us-- then once it was complete it was a huge relief!

Did you do a first look?

Yes -- we did our first look in front of Federal Coffee. I highly recommend doing a first look!

What is one piece of advice you have for engaged couples in the wedding process?

1. Be very organized with the planning process 2. Have a day of coordinator to help with the little and last minute things on your wedding day. It takes the stress off of you and you are able to enjoy the day!

What did you love most about your wedding day?

Honestly, all of it! Everything went so smooth and was so organized.

What is one piece of advice you have for the wedding day?

Relax, enjoy the day and soak in as much of it as you can. The day goes by so fast and at the end of the day everything is going to go great so don't sweat the small stuff

Why did you choose the Terre Haute Convention Center for your wedding venue?

I loved that we could do both the ceremony and reception at one place. It was able to comfortably hold all of our guests, the hotels nearby, downtown location, and it had great spots for pictures!

What food did our Executive Chef prepare for you and your guests?

Chicken Bruschetta and the Pork Tenderloin. Both were amazing and our guests talked about how great the food was!

What was your wedding inspiration?

Mainly black with a splash of gold. Fresh flowers, mostly white, with greenery. Chris made marquee letters of our last name and we had them in front of our head table!

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

Traveling more together and starting our family!

How was your experience working with the Terre Haute Convention Center?

Lucy and everyone at the Terre Haute Convention Center was amazing to work with! They stayed in touch with you throughout the whole planning process, made sure everything was exactly how you wanted it and did it with such ease. I cannot talk highly enough about them!
