Coming in 2023, the Larry Bird Museum will pay homage to one of history’s greatest basketball players who got his start in Terre Haute. The museum will feature memorabilia from Bird’s career, including his time at Indiana State University, the Boston Celtics and the United States Olympic team.
Once opened, the Larry Bird Museum will be open free to the public and can also be rented out for special parties to become an extension to banquets and special events taking place in the Terre Haute Convention Center.
